mmm that’s a hard one. however, i think an important one to any and all fandoms is the mindset that some people play characters correctly while others don’t. this is a total opinion, therefore no one’s is above anyone else’s. yes some people write better than others, but that IN NO WAY means that one person writes a character better than another. please rid yourself of this idea that you’re better than others, because no one is better than anyone else. we all bring different things to a character, different and unique aspects, but AGAIN, that doesn’t make any of us better than any other person. so PLEASE stop telling people they don’t know what they’re writing or who they’re writing. odds are, they do if they’re writing said character, even if it’s in a different way than you do it. the tumblr rp community needs POSITIVITY, and so many people forget that or choose to ignore it. this is one of the most unhealthy things to do, and even pushes people away from joining a fandom. don’t be the reason people run away, delete, or get scared. it’s not fair to anyone.
