hi, all! now, some of you might recall / remember my previous campaign, the kindness campaign, and while it will never stop ( aka i plan on keeping up with it still ) i felt it time to start a new wave of kindness! the name for this new instance of positivity comes from the one and only mother monster from when i saw her in concert december 1st, because she said something that will stay with me forever: “kindness cures all things.” to be honest, i couldn’t agree more. it’s hate and negativity that breeds further hate and negativity, so why should any of that be encouraged? thus, in order to counteract this nastiness that’s sadly so prevalent in the rpc, we’re gonna keep on showing love for one another!

the goal:

to spread as much love as possible! this can be done in quite a few ways, but this is the minimum i ask of you should you decide to participate. one, MAKE SURE YOU ACTUALLY READ THIS POST AND ITS CONTENTS. in doing so, you will understand what reblogging this post entails! anyways, BY REBLOGGING THIS POST, YOU ARE AGREEING TO SEND PEOPLE POSITIVITY. you can do so in multiple ways, be it by sending them an ask ( please begin said ask with “kindness cures” and then a : or - right after ), submitting a cute picture or quote or something that’ll brighten their day ( again, make sure you mention “kindness cures” in some way ), or even making them a little something if you enjoy creating graphics ( once more, mentioning the campaign so that they understand the context )! now onto the opposite end of the campaign: BY LIKING THIS POST, YOU ARE LETTING THOSE THAT REBLOG IT KNOW THAT YOU ARE IN NEED OF SOME GOOD VIBES / POSITIVITY. we all know how hard it can be at times to ask for help, or to even approach people in general ( especially on the internet ). in order to move beyond this, by liking this post you are letting others know that you need a pick-me-up without actually having to ask for one! and if you feel down or out of it / unhappy with whatever may be happening in life, please feel free to like this post as many times as you need from one point in time to another, even if it’s a few days in a row!

the purpose:

the roleplay community can be a nasty place at times, rumors spread and lies thrown about like they’re gospel. because of this, something must be done to counter such negativity. my goal ( as well as those that decide to participate ) is to make sure people know they aren’t alone. if you’re simply feeling down and need encouragement, or you’re truly struggling with life and need help, this campaign is for you. we’re a shoulder to cry on or just a friendly voice to keep your spirits lifted; whatever you need. within reason, of course, for though we may try, we cannot work miracles.

no one should feel left out, disliked, or unwanted, and the goal of the kindness campaign is to make sure none of that happens. you are loved and you are wanted, and very much so.

the plan:

if you wish to participate in this campaign, aka be a sender / messenger of positivity and love, REBLOG this post. it let’s people know that you are a safe haven. if you’re in a bad place or just want to hear kind words, be it about your writing or otherwise, LIKE this post. you will get at least one message, if not more, depending on who all is able to respond. and feel free to like this post more than once. what i mean by this is that if you’re ever feeling down / not yourself, like this post. if you feel that way again a day or a week or a month later, like this post again. someone will come to you and tell you just how amazing you are. i want to emphasize, however, that this is NOT a campaign meant to boost your ego. do not abuse what we will all be giving / contributing just so you can boast about it later. while we want everyone happy in any / every way, keep in mind the purpose of this campaign.
